QUEEN'S LEADERS ENGAGING IN CHANGE
Lead. Challenge. Empower.
Bridging the gap between ideas and actions while developing socially-conscious and impactful leaders.
ABOUT
Debuting its transformational journey in 2008, Queen’s Leaders Engaging in Change, previously known as Queen’s Conference on Philanthropy, has brought together students from across the nation to lead, engage, challenge and empower delegates to take action within their communities and achieve positive change.
QLEC strives to inspire delegates with a memorable weekend comprised of stimulating speakers, workshops and activities. Our committee provides delegates with an unparalleled opportunity to explore ways in which to lead positive change, whether from a professional or a personal perspective, through raising awareness of existing impactful causes and initiatives undertaken globally. Queen’s Leaders Engaging in Change’s main purpose is to provide a platform that engages, empowers and challenges delegates to bridge the gap between ideas and community action. Regardless of how big or small such gap may be, QLEC aims to collaborate with delegates to help bring their most heartening ideas to life and, in doing so, hopes to develop positively impactful leaders.
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has. ”
Margaret Mead
